The revised School Inspection Handbook was published in July 2022. These changes build on the changes made to Education Inspection framework in September 2019.

The course aims are:

  • To provide school leaders with clarity about what they will need to know to navigate through their next inspection
  • To help leaders prepare for the pre-inspection phone call so that they have all the relevant information to hand
  • To understand the process of the deep dives and the information inspectors will want
  • To provide clarity to school leaders to what evidence inspectors will use to evaluate your school.
